Is Scrapshala an Indian brand?
Yes, it’s an Indian brand, manufacturing its good in India through local artisans.
Where is Scrapshala located?
It’s presently headquartered in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Corporate office is located in New Delhi.
Are all Scrapshala products handcrafted?
Yes, most of our product manufacturing is done by local artisans using traditional handicraft skill sets of India.
Can we visit Scrapshala to see the product manufacturing?
Yes, you can experience live product making and meet some artisans at our Varanasi workshop.

Are all Scrapshala products made from scrap?
The premium range of upcycled products at Scrapshala are made of 60-90 % scrap material mixed with 10-40 % fresh material that is mostly natural and sustainable in nature.
There a separate range of personal care and lifestyle products at Scrapshala that is made from 100 percent natural fresh raw material.
Do you upcycle scrap under your services?
Yes, we do customized upcycling of scrap/old items into new items of your choice.
This customized service is currently available only in our Varanasi workshop.
Does Scrapshala do workshops and skill development?
Yes, we do that.

Does Scrapshala undertake CSR projects?
Yes, we do that under a separate organization – Scrapshala India Social Foundation that is 80 G/ 12 A certified.

Where can I buy Scrapshala products?
You can shop online and in our retail stores.
Our website to shop online is www.scrapshala.com.
Retail stores are located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
We are also available on multiple marketplaces such as Flipkart, Nestery and Brownliving.
Are Scrapshala products available internationally?
Yes, you can place international orders to us by writing at scrapshala@gmail.com
You can select the products from our website www.scrapshala.com
Shipping charges will be as per actual weight and volume of the product.
Please check international custom guidelines of your country for our products (such as plantable seed rakhis) before placing an order at Scrapshala.
How do I know if my order has been placed successfully?
You will receive an email on your registered email address with order details as order confirmation proof. Please contact us at 7411079100 in case of any issues with your order.
When will my order get shipped?
It takes 1-3 business days to ship your order in general.
In cases of exception such as inventory out of stock, we will notify you about the delay.
How can I track my shipped order?
You will receive over email or whatsapp a tracking number or tracking link with logistics partner details to track your order.
How much do you charge for delivery?
Delivery charges for national or international orders are as per actual depending upon pincode and volumetric weight of the parcel.
Do we have to pay custom charges in case of international shipping?
Yes, our orders are shipped internationally from our warehouse in Varanasi/New Delhi, India to your provided shipping address via shipping companies like DHL. Due to the nature of international shipping, occasionally a customer may have to pay additional import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. However, we are unable to calculate when and how much these infrequent customs duty charges will be levied. In the case where additional customs charges are assessed, you will be responsible for paying these additional fees.
I want to gift a Scrapshala product, can you gift wrap/add a personal message/greeting card and remove the invoice from the order?
Yes we can do that, for such requests, write your text in special instructions column or kindly drop us an email at scrapshala@gmail.com
What to do in case I receive a product damaged?
You can refer to our return/exchange/refund policy for the same.
Please click the damaged product picture/video with original packaging, labels, price tags and shipping label in such cases.
What to do if I am unable to receive the product after it’s dispatched?
In such case, based on our experience, there could be two reasons. First, that your pincode is wrong/unreachable and second, shipping company is unable to reach you over phone call on the number provided by you while placing the order or there is no one to receive the parcel on the shipping address mentioned by you.
To avoid this, ensure you that your address is complete with correct pincode and contact details before placing your order at Scrapshala and make sure to receive call from shipping partner on delivery day for OTP/address mapping.

How and when will my refund come?
We work to provide the most hassle-free online shopping experience. You are covered and your money safe. We will endeavour to replace the product with an identical product. We may also offer a similar product of same or lower value as replacement.
We may suggest issuing you credit note, which can be utilised for shopping from this website within 30 days from the date of issue. In case you are not entirely satisfied with the replacements suggested, we will refund the entire amount paid by you. After confirmation from you, we will intimate our payment partner to initiate refund process. We will keep you informed of this activity. You may also ask you for UPI details for instant replacement in certain cases.

PRODUCT CUSTOMIZATION
Do you customize products?
Yes, we do. Online products that can be customized will have an option for customization (read product details while placing your order)
Can we get customization on any products that is available online?
Minimum units for product customization is 25 units. Customization charges will be applicable. Product delivery timelines will vary for customized products depending upon design, availability of artisans and time of the year.
Can we get personalized branding done on the products?
Yes, branding options are available on multiple products. Minimum order units of one product for branding is 50. Branding charges will be applicable. Product delivery timelines will depend upon products and time of the year when order is placed.
What will be price for single product customization?
We generally do not fulfil orders for single product customization. You can try your luck by writing to us at scrapshala@gmail.com with subject – product customization required.
WORKING WITH SCRAPSHALA
I also make upcycled products at home, how can I sell with Scrapshala?

If your work samples are approved, you will be called for an interview and product design test at our office in Varanasi or New Delhi.
